Your Tesenso Industial Edge is normaly in the DHCP mode. You can type the IP on the Display (=Device IP) into your browser

EG: 10.147.19.183:1880

Important: After the IP add the Port! xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:1880

Controlls / Settings

  1. UPDATE DEVICES: Updates the status of your M-Bus Devices

  2. SCAN: Make a scan of all M-Bus devices

  3. RESTART: Make a restart of the M-Bus Controller (in case of problems)

  4. CLEAR SELECTED: Warning: Deselecting all active M-Bus Devices

  5. ADD SECONDARY ADDRESS: Allows you to add a M-Bus device, which was not found with the Scan

  6. REMOVE SECONDARY ADDRESS: Allows you to remove a M-Bus device, which was automatically or manually added.

Initial Setup

During commissioning, the first step is to make a scan. Alternatively, the M-Bus devices can also be added via secondary address. Press Button 2

Check the Result of the scanned M-Bus Devices

Click Button 1 - to Update the status of the Devices

Check the Payload of the M-Bus device by clicking on the Secondary Address

Activate the M-Bus Devices to send the data into the Tesenso Cloud

After the payload control, the M-Bus devices still have to be selected- so that the data can be transmitted to the Tesenso Cloud. To do this, simply activate the checkbox. The data will be forwarded instantly.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

  1. M-Bus Device is not visible after a scan

    Solution 1: Start the scan again, sometimes it takes several attempts Solution 2: Add the M-Bus device manually: Enter the complete Secondary Adress in the field and press ADD SECONDARY ADRESS, then UPDATE DEVICES. The device should now be displayed and the payload can be read. Solution3: Check the connection / wires from your M-Bus device
